Bowls Super Challenge:
Next round is on Saturday week February 4 when Gold and Bronze will travel up the Gold Coast Highway to play Mermaid Beach with both games starting at 2pm NSW time. The Silver division has the weekend off due to playing a double header last weekend. The Silver division’s next game is at home on Saturday February 11 against Tugun. The Gold and Bronze will be up against the strong Caloundra club, also at home, on this day.
CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
The club championships for 2012 are due to start with the first round of the Club Fours on Sunday February 5 at 9am NSW time. TWEED VALLEY SHIELD
Round 2 results: Both A Division and Division B games at Tweed Heads abandoned due to rain. All teams receive 3½ points each.
Round 4: Monday February 6 play at Kingscliff has Tweed Heads against Kingscliff; South Tweed against Coolangatta and Pottsville against Tugun. Starting time is 1.00pm NSW time.

The draw for this event was finally published last week with Saturday February 4 the start of the first round.
Tweed Heads entered a White division and a Blue division team. Round 1 draw for Tweed Heads White is against Burleigh Heads at home and Tweed Heads Blue is against McKenzie Park also at home. Games start at 10.00am NSW time.

TWEED HEADS TOURERS
The Tourers arranged a game for last Sunday January 29 at Robina with the Condong Saints and Sinners was abandoned due to the inclement weather.
The Tourers committee have arranged a weekend away to Noosa from Thursday February 23 to Sunday February 26 at a cost of $250.00 per person plus incidental expenses. A bus has been arranged for transport and at least 22 players are required and the list is on the notice board in the Members Lounge for interested parties.
