TWEED HEADS MENS BOWLS CLUB
Championships:
Senior Triples: In what could be described as a
"boil-over" John Moon, Carlo Campana and skip, Graham Simpson defeated
the strong tean of Laurie Rea, Nick Separovich and Peter Harris 24/11 in the
final of this championship last Sunday morning 16 November. Congratulations to
both teams on reaching the final.

TWEED HEADS TOURERS
Once again the host club failed to confirm arrangements
last Sunday for the Tourers so they accompanied Tugun and played at South Tweed.
For the record there was 44 players in attendance.
Winners for the Tourers were Ric Ware, Col Moses and Stan
Williams.
Next Sunday the Tourers will be playing at home with the
Ladies invited to join them. The list is on the notice board in the Members
Lounge for those wishing to play.

The final of this championship was completed on Saturday morning 8 November 2008
and the team skipped by Kim Stephenson, with Brian Scrase [lead] and Brian Lamb,
substituting for Clem Jones won the game beating the team of Alan Davis, Frank
McPhillips and [skip] Roy Nuttall 23/15.

will accomplany Redlands Bay for morning bowls.
